Lot is a participatory art installation completed to critique the cost of occupying space.

Displayed at Riot on the Roof in 2018, an evening event held within the parking garage above the Vernon Public Art Gallery, participants of Lot were required to pay $1.25 per ten minutes to utilize the nostalgically comfortable furniture confined to a single parking space, with a maximum sitting time of 30 minutes per participant. Utilizing public advertising, an unattached volunteer was employed to collect and retain all profits from the evening, provided only with a chair, instruction, and a coin box.

This installation was completed with thanks to Peter Navratil and the Vernon Public Art Gallery.
